O.J. Simpson granted parole after 9 years in prison

A Nevada parole board has granted O.J. Simpson parole. Simpson was sentenced in 2008 to up to 33 years in prison for kidnapping, armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon in a 2007 incident that unfolded in a Las Vegas hotel room. He could be released as early as October.

A Nevada parole board is deliberating whether to release O.J. Simpson from prison after the former NFL star apologized, said he was a model prisoner, and promised that he’d have no conflicts if released.

“I’ve done my time,” he said. “I’ve done it as well and as respectfully as I think anyone can.”

Simpson has served nine years of a nine-to-33-year sentence for an armed robbery and kidnapping in Las Vegas in 2007. Now 70, Simpson appeared alert, engaged, and quick to smile, letting out a hearty laugh when Parole Board Chairman Connie Bisbee accidentally said he was aged 90.
“I feel like it,” he said, laughing.

Still, at the parole hearing, he deflected responsibility for that Vegas crime and said he was misled by associates around him, who he said then turned on him in court.

“Unfortunately, they got a get-out-of-jail-free card when they said ‘O.J. told me (to do it),'” Simpson said. “Nothing I can do about that.”
Four members of the parole board are now deliberating. If their vote is not unanimous, two other board members will be asked to vote. Simpson must win a majority of the vote to be released.

Thursday’s parole hearing follows renewed interest in Simpson’s story, which was explored last year in the award-winning documentary “O.J.: Made in America” and the FX true-crime drama “The People v. O.J. Simpson.”

Simpson is best known for his infamous 1995 acquittal in the grisly slayings of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman in what was called the “trial of the century.”

Though it’s been 22 years since that not guilty verdict, the murder trial’s themes of criminal justice and race, trust in police, celebrity and domestic violence remain remarkably resonant in modern culture.

Did Kevin Hart Cheat On Pregnant Wife? Allegedly Spotted Getting Cozy With Brunette — Watch Now

Say it ain’t so! A new video on July 19 seems to show Kevin Hart getting close with a young brunette. Is he cheating on his pregnant wife Eniko Parrish?

We REALLY hope this is just a misunderstanding. A new video surfaced on July 19 that seemed to show comedian Kevin Hart, 38, allegedly getting cozy with a hot brunette outside of his hotel in Miami on July 18 around 5 am. The problem? He has a pregnant wife, Eniko Parrish, 32, at home waiting for him. Yikes!

A source reports that Kevin spent more than 20 minutes hanging out with the woman in a Lexus. At one point, he allegedly climbed into the passenger seat with her to get closer! “It’s obvious they were up to no good,” said their source. “She kept looking over her shoulder and Kevin was pop-eyed when another guest walked by.” The outlet claims that Kevin had been partying with the girl at LIV nightclub, celebrating his birthday. “With his wife at home pregnant, Kevin’s behavior is way out of line,” another source told Radar. “His friends are in total shock. It’s disgusting that Kevin is doing this to her.”

Though the source reports that Kevin was “hooking up” with the girl, the duo doesn’t seem to be kissing or anything inappropriate in the video. it could be completely innocent! However, Kevin’s ex-wife Torrei Hart did reveal that Kevin cheated on her with Eniko, who he married in 2009. The couple announced they they’re expecting a child together in May, just two months before the shocking video was released. We really hope that this is all a misunderstanding, and that Kevin is not cheating on his wife, but we guess we’ll just have to wait and see!

DJ Khaled And Drake Add To Their List Of Collaborations With “To The Max”

From Snapchat to Instagram, DJ Khaled has used different modes of social media to question the whereabouts of Drake’s vocals. Well, it’s time to call off the search party because the Toronto native’s lyrical contribution has been found.

As the sun rose on Monday morning (June 5), DJ Khaled released his latest single, “To The Max,” which precedes the release of his tenth studio album, Grateful (June 23). Just like the artwork for the track, Khaled’s baby boy and executive producer Asahd graces his father’s album cover like a pro in a jacuzzi.

Right in time for the summer, Drizzy and the We The Best captain encourage you to get your footwork in order while rapping tales of trials and tribulations. “Got it on the dresser/ I’ve been under pressure/ They wanna see me laid out on a stretcher/ Gotta keep my head up,” Drake raps.
